Just for Music (JFM), an new record label company in the business of identifying young talented music artistes across the country, has unveiled its first ever artiste, Chukwuebuka Chamberlin, an afro pop artiste, who goes by the stage name Josh Dope. The label aims to ensure young talents with good music get the oppportunity to showcase themselves. And they have started this commitment with the unveiling Josh Dope at his EP Listening Party & Launch in Lagos.

The CEO of JFM, Andrew Izuchukwu Raphael, a former UK club DJ said the label is committed to promoting talents and quality music.

“Creativity should not be limited by resources but fine-tuned into saleable outputs that would scale global borders, export cultures and bridge cultural divides,” he said.

Josh Dope officially started his music career in 2014 after he was spotted by the record label. Since then, he has been working conscientiously and honing his craft. He recently dropped his Extended Playlist (EP) titled Ahunfe (Beloved), had all the songs in the playlist produced by Rjay, Steve Larry, Dj Rafzy and Dj Cee Sharp who are all under the JFM label. The extended playlist boasts of a compilation of finely produced choice songs by the artiste where he showed melodic dexterity in rendering English, Igbo and Ghanaian laced tunes.

The Afro-pop artiste, talks about what to expect from him this year, “This is a tip of what is to come as I would be dropping the visuals for one or two of my songs later this year and I plan to make himself indispensible in the Nigeria music industry.”
