Luxury brand, LuxuryByFeyi, a high-end couture fashion house based in the UK, recently presented its spring/summer collection tagged, ‘Black Swan.’

With series of exhibitions and fashion fairs, including the recently concluded London Fashion Week (LFW) that held this September at the Aston Martin London showroom in Mayfair, the fashion house has reiterated its commitment to raising the bar in the creation of stylish outfits

Speaking about the recently unveiled ‘Black Swan’ collection, the CEO/Creative Director of the brand, Feyisola Adeyemi said, “as a surrealist fashion designer, the idea behind the collection is to capture the natural beauty of animals and translate it into an elegant and surreal artistic feminine silhouette.”

“Most of the garments showcased were animal shaped, embroidered hand-made, but they all maintained a signature paisley pattern throughout. The gowns expressed a universal theme that resonates with many ethnic groups and I’m proud to present it in London during the London Fashion Week. I am particularly pleased working with Aston Martin Motors to bring the luxury aspect of the collection into light,” she added.

According to Adeyemi, the collection experimented with different kind of styles and elements including gemstones, pearls, black roses flower, artificial red grape fruit, acrylic mirror, feathers and fringe accessories on satin laces, tulle and sheer fabrics, which gave it a playful, youthful chic vibe.

She explained that LuxuryByFeyi is not just a fashion brand but also a voice to the younger female generation, particularly young, African women as black female designers are now being recognised globally in the fashion industry.
