Olatinpo Odutola and President Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has thrown his weight behind Olatinpo Odutola’s charity activities in memory of her late mother and encouraged her to do more, describing her as a breathe of fresh air.

Speaking at his Hilltop, Abeokuta, Ogun State residence penultimate Friday, when Olatinpo and her delegation paid him a courtesy visit, Obasanjo said he was quite elated when he saw her charity activities, adding: “I was elated when I first saw your charity activities, you have volunteered yourself for the great service to humanity.

“You represent the breathe of fresh air that the country deserves at this stage. I know your grandpa very well and I know his unparalleled capacity for work, and he was a good man too.

“I have a strong conviction that with people like you, this country would be a better place.” He thereafter hosted the delegation to a private breakfast.

Earlier, Olatinpo said she came to see her mentor and to also seek his wisdom and blessings.

With her Olubusola Akingbehin Memorial Foundation, Olatinpo has provided delivery packs for pregnant women in the state general hospitals, Otunba Tunwase Hospital and rural clinics in Ijebu Ode and this has earned her accolades.
