Ogun Pledges Support For Festivals

“The propagation of cultural and traditional values has been of tremendous benefits to Ogun State since the inception of Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s administration,” she said.

OGUN State Government will continually support traditional festivals that project the rich cultural heritage of the state to enhance socio – cultural heritage of the state to enhance socio – economic development.

The Commissioner, Ministry of culture and Tourism, Mrs. Yewande Amusan stated this at the grand final of the Lisabi festival, held at Ake Palace, Abeokuta.
Mrs. Amusan said the Ministry has consistently invited tourists to witness some of the state’s traditional festivals, nothing that this has made the state an investment destination of choice.
