Style Loft Box recently launched its fashion boutique in Ikoyi, Lagos

An initiative of Mariam Afolabi, the Style Loft Box, a fashion, beauty and lifestyle mall, is a mini-mall that is creative and innovatively constructed with containers, which is first of its kind in Nigeria.

The Creative Director of Mazelle Fashion Brand and Studio, Mariam Afolabi, who is also a maritime lawyer, disclosed that the reason for setting up the initiative was to give people a new concept that they’ve not seen before in Nigeria’s fashion industry.

“It is a fashion brand, formerly Mademoiselle Aglaia, but we decided to rebrand the label name to Mazelle. We do ready-to-wear, bridal wears, and day and night wears.

I wanted something new, a concept that people have not seen in Lagos, that was why I travelled to Dubai and I saw container innovation like this called the box spa, made up of shipping containers and I felt that we needed this concept in Nigeria. So we came up with this concept and decided to set this store in Lagos.

It is made up of unused shipping containers that were not being used, and we stacked them up together which make you feel like you are going into a normal store.”

The event had in attendance celebrities such as Ramsey Noah, Desmond Elliot, Iyabo Ojo, Femi Adebayo, Ozzy Agu, Emmanuel Ikebese, Sound Sultan, Annie Idibia, he General Manager of Cargo Skyway Aviation, Boma Ukwunna, and a host of others.
