THE Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has disclosed his administration’s readiness to partner with foreign investors 

to turning the Ado-Awaye suspended lake into an international tourist centre,.

Ajimobi made this known while addressing the people of Ado Awaye in Iseyin Local council Area of the state on Thursday during his campaign tour to the Oke-Ogun zone of the state recently.

The governor, who said that the suspended lake could be a source of huge revenue for the state, added that priority attention would be accorded the lake to ensure it attained the status of global tourist centre.

 He said that the partnership with foreign investors would see the lake becoming a centre of attraction like the old Agodi Gardens in Ibadan which had just been rehabilitated and transformed into a resort and conference centre of international standard.
