Indigenous rapper, Omoniyi Temidayo, well known as Zlatan, has dropped another hit single, titled, Omoge, and featuring self-proclaimed music Taliban, Oritse Femi. The former winner of Airtel One Mic Talent Show, now Coded Records Entertainment artiste, said it was nice working with Femi, saying it was actually easy because the Double Wahala singer started from somewhere and he has featured so many artistes as well.

He stated: “We just have to upgrade our stand. I felt really happy, at least I have somebody that people love working with me on my sound, at least to help boost my sound in one way or the other.”

On what inspired the new single, Zlatan added: “I have been recording a lot of tracks lately, so I just decided to choose one of them and promote it. “It was actually vibing to the song in the studio and I just wanted to feature somebody else.

“I deliberated the issue with my manager and some of my friends at home and they said I should try Femi. We made contact with him and it happened.”For the singer, there was no major challenge encountered recording the song, as music is his passion.

“It is what I do; I don’t think I should face any major challenge because it is part of me. It went well; I recorded my part and Femi also recorded his own part,” he stated.

He continued: “Within the short period I spent with him, I have learnt that one just have to be strong in this game called music. You just have to keep doing what you do.

“I also learnt that if I can put more effort, people will begin to see me as their idol and bring their songs to my studio and record. From there, I will become an icon.”

The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta, Business Administrative graduate further explained how far he has gone, since being signed to Coded Records Entertainment, saying: “We are still taking our time to strategise things, so that we will hit the market well. Sometimes if you don’t come out well prepared, you will end up spending a lot without gain.

“So, we are trying to make our strategies to work. It is not just about putting the songs out there, but hitting the market and getting there.”Zlatan noted that it is not a day’s job though; hence he is taking his time to do some underground work before coming out fully, adding that he dropped a video, Odun Yi, earlier in the year, featuring Space Boi.

While thanking fans for their support and love, he also urged them to expect something bigger than the Omoge hit. “I just want to tell them to do what makes them happy and believe, because you just need that and consistency, and you will all make it.”
