AS part of efforts being put in place to ensure free and fair elections this year, and devoid of violence, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has organised a two-day National Youth Summit in Abuja, with the theme: Nigerian Youth: Working for Peaceful Elections, Deepening our Democracy.

    To achieve its aim of sensitising the youth, the electoral body on Monday unveiled a number of Nigerian celebrities as its youth ambassadors. The summit, organised in collaboration with UNDP-DGD, kicked off early yesterday January 19, and will came to an end on Tuesday, January 20. 

     The unveiled ambassadors includes Nollywood actors Jim Iyke, Mike Godson, Gideon Okeke, Gbenro Ajibade, Big Brother finalist, Tayo Faniran, and singer, Frank Edwards among others.
