Kollington, Salawa Again Reunite In Son’s Gentle Lady (Remix) Music Video

As part of the continued move to bring together again his parents, Ijo Oyoyo exponent, General Kollington Ayinla and Queen Abeni Salawa, the Waka Queen, rapper Big Sheff, who recently dropped the audio of her mother’s Gentle Lady (remix), has dropped the visuals to the tune featuring the Waka Queen, Salawa Abeni and General Kollington Ayinla, his father)

For those in tune with Fuji music in the 80s, the names, General Kollinton Ayinla and Queen Salawa Abeni would be remembered amongst the names that dominated the scene, not only through their music but also through the tempestuous relationship that existed between them.

Though, the duo ended up as man and wife, but it will be recalled the vitriolic, bitter and name-calling musical campaign they launched against each other. Despite this, both are back in each other’s arms.

The formerly estranged lovers reunited at the eight day Fidau prayer and burial ceremony of the late mother of Salawa in Epe, Lagos State in July. With open arms and courtesy, Queen Salawa welcomed the Fuji General to the event, which was also attended by other Fuji and Apala artistes including Adewale Ayuba, Shefiu Alao, and Atawewe among others.
According to a report by E24-7 report, Kollington sat very close to Salawa and their body language all through the day conveyed nothing but affection and intimacy as they talked, smiled and held hands.

This confirmed earlier claim by Kollington in an interview that they are still husband and wife. “We are husband and wife. She does not have a child for anybody else other than me. I’m her bonafide owner and we are together till death does us apart,” he said.
