MavinsFor the past six weeks, Looku Looku by the Mavins has been a fixture on the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten chart. In this time, the monster hit has spent three weeks at number one and another three weeks at the number two spot.

The prolonged chart presence comes to an abrupt end this week as the song unexpectedly falls off the chart, to be replaced by this week’s only debut track, Always by Skales featuring Davido, which comes in at number six.

This week’s episode of the weekly countdown show features a giveaway by dancehall star Yung L who gives out a special “MOD” (Marley On Deck) t-shirt of his, which he reveals is very close to his heart. He also performs a ragga freestyle.

Elsewhere on the chart, Burna Boy’s Soke climbs four places to number two, replacing the departed Looku Looku. These two tracks represent this week’s only changes to last week’s chart, with Daniella Whine still at number one, followed by Jangilova, Oringo and Shuperu Remix at number three, four and five respectively.
