Iretiola Doyle is one of the great actresses in the Nigerian movie scene because of her ability to interpret roles effectively. For the Nollywood star who has been acting for twenty years said that acting has been gratifying and a wonderful experience.

The actress will feature in Fifty, a film directed by Biyi Bandele and executively produced by Mo Abudu. Fifty, captures a few pivotal days in the lives of four Nigerian women at the pinnacle of their careers. Tola, Elizabeth, Maria and Kate are forced at midlife to take inventory of their personal lives, while juggling careers and family against the sprawling backdrops of the upper middle-class neighbourhoods of Lagos.

Talking about how she was picked for the film Fifty she said that she was invited to read for the character and few weeks later she was called back to feature in the movie. “What really attracted me to the script is the character which was very exciting.

She continues, “I played the character of Dr. Elizabeth who is fifty years old and an obstetrician. She is full of life, strong and very unapologetic. I feel very proud to be part of the project and think we have done a great job. I also believe Nigerians will enjoy and appreciate it.
