Kogi and Adamawa states’ representatives in the Girls category of the on-going Nestle Milo Basketball Championships Confluence Conference have booked their quarterfinal tickets of the competition holding at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Lokoja Stadium, Kogi State.

Harmony Secondary School, Lokoja, defeated Government Girls Unity Secondary School Gwaram, Jigawa State and Government Girls Unity Secondary School, Damaturu, Yobe State, by 27 to 09 and 24 to 04 to advance to the quarterfinal stage, while Government Secondary School Numan, Adamawa State, thrashed Government Secondary School, Gindiri, Plateau State and Government Girls School Jogona, Kano State by 32 to 11 and 14 to 12 respectively.

In the boys cadre, General Murtala Muhammad Yola, Adamawa State, progressed to the next stage by defeating Giwo Science Academy, Bauchi State with 45 to 12 points, while Darusalam Science Academy Maiduguri, Borno State ran away with a 34 to 23 points victory over Cocin Comprehensive College Gindiri, Plateau State.
