After weeks of hostilities at the primary section of the league, Chrisland sit at the top of the table, but according to the organisers, every team participating in the league still stands a chance to steal the show at the end of the tournament.

According to the coordinator of the competition, Seyi Opanubi, the league, which is a talent discovery and grooming programme, has been exciting as all the participating schools are fighting hard to be champions.

“My Family Mobile Rugby League for Primary and Secondary Schools is becoming interesting in every game. This is based on the continuous training given to the children. We are happy that the parents are on ground to watch their wards play. This is part of the principles of the company, which is to create family bonding.“Our target is to make rugby one of the best sports in the country. We are building a generation of disciplined and talented sports stars,” he said.
