Towards realising the dream of returning the lost glory of the first club side in the nation to win a continental laurel and make it self-reliance, the leadership of 3SC Supporters Club has initiated moves to involve some well-meaning people in the south/west geo-political zone of the country in their drive to revive the club.

At the event held on Tuesday at the Heir’s place, Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba in Ibadan Oyo State, the Supporters Club installed an Ibadan-based astute businessman, Alhaji Mutiu Oladejo, popularly known as Onimalu as ‘Goodwill Ambassador’ of the club, attended by top hierarchy of the club.

Oladejo pledged to use everything within his capacity to support the club, especially towards the launch of a N500 million fund for the club slated for July 12.“Shooting Stars is a global brand, and I’m delighted to accept this responsibility of retuning this club back to its pride of place it occupy before among notable clubs in Africa and beyond.

“I’ll also cultivate support for the team from my fellow business associates and friends by coming to motivate the team during their home matches. By this, I’m sure the boys will give their best and return 3SC back to elite cadre this season” Onimalu noted.

Meanwhile, Nigerian musical icon and Chairman of Fresh FM Radio Station in Ibadan, Dr. Olayinka Joel Ayefele, MON, has also pledged to support the club.He made this pledge when he played host to key officers of the Shooting Stars’ Supporters Club during the week in his office.

The supporters’ club officers, led by their chairman, Pastor Akinade Okediran were in Ayefele’s office to seek for his support in connection with the club’s plan to launch a N500 million fund for the football team on July 12, 2018.

“I am one of the most ardent supporters of 3SC. I have been in love with the team for several years.“I am more in support of the club because it is the pride of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria and Africa. The football club is a legacy we must all be seen as supporting,” Ayefele said.
