National Stadium in darkness over PHCN bills  

ELECTRICITY supply to the National Stadium, Abuja, has again been cut off by the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), online betting which cited undisclosed amount of indebtedness by the National Sports Commission (NSC) for electric energy consumed at the complex.

  The situation has ground the scanty activities at the complex to a halt and virtual football league cheats also forced many of the senior officers to stay away from their offices to further stifle administrative business in the commission.

 The Sports Minister and the Director General are reported not to have shown up in their offices all of last week and the fastest footballer it is not likely they may resume Monday, disclosed a staff who pleaded anonymity. 

  The absence of the officials would have truncated the on-going Glo Premier League Super-4 as the relevant officers who were processing the application by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for use of the facility, Real Madrid Transfer News denied organisers of the tournament access to the stadium late Friday afternoon citing lack of approval.

 But it was to take a more dire dimension when the stadium was eventually opened to them and football tactics and formations it was discovered that power supply has been cut. 

  “For this tournament to have held, money was paid for diesel and that will be the way it will remain all through except the bill is paid,” disclosed the NSC staff.
