Spartak loans Italian defender, Bocchetti, to AC Milan
RUSSIAN club, Spartak Moscow, has agreed a loan deal which takes defender Salvatore Bocchetti to Italy’s AC Milan for the rest of the season, the Russian club announced on Wednesday.
The deal is subject to Bocchetti passing a medical and includes an option for Milan to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
Bocchetti, 28, who has been capped five times by his country, joined Spartak from Rubin Kazan in 2013, having moved there from Genoa in 2010.
He is the third player to leave Spartak on loan during the winter break, following Russia captain Roman Shirkov, who has joined Krasnador, and Argentine midfielder Tino Costa who has moved to Genoa.
