All eyes will be on Grange secondary school this afternoon, as the 3rd Zenith Bank/Ikoyi Club School Swimming Gala holds in Lagos. The school won last year’s edition amidst stiff challenges from other competitors.

Last Saturday, Grange primary school emerged champions in the primary category of the 3rd Zenith Bank/Ikoyi Club School Swimming Gala, which had 11 schools in attendance.

Grange secondary school will be aiming to make it a double celebration by winning today’s event.

Other secondary schools that will battle for honour in the secondary school swimming event are American International School, Children School, Edgewood School, British International School, Lagoon School, Temple School, Brownsville College, Meadow Hall and Atlantic Hall.

The Chairman of the Swimming Section, Ikoyi Club 1938, Mr. Abayomi Ogundipe, and the Vice Chairman/Games Captain of the Swimming Section, Oloyede Obatoyinbo said that today’s event would afford the children develop their skills in swimming.
