Greensprings Kanu Football Camp awards scholarships to outstanding teenagers

Organisers of the Greensprings Kanu Football Camp Season Six, which ended last week, has awarded scholarships to two outstanding teenagers from the five-day programme. 

Prior to the award of scholarships to 13-year-old duo of Oluwatobiloba Ogunleye and Azeez Jubril, six indigent students from public schools in Lagos had already benefited from this generous gesture, some of who are now members of the National U-15 football team.

Announcing the scholarship at the end of the clinic held at the Lekki Campus of Greensprings School, the Executive Director, Mrs. Lai Koiki said the scholarship award is aimed at moulding a total child, which is one of the cardinal visions of the school.

Oluwatobiloba Ogunleye and Azeez Jubril will enjoy a full scholarship which includes boarding, throughout their secondary education at Greensprings School, she said.

Jubril is a junior class two student of Eko Junior Boys High School, Mushin, while Ogunleye is also a junior class two student of Noble Winners Private School Ikorodu. They emerged the best campers at the five-day clinic.
