League boss, Dikko, to chair launch of Jemega’s book on NPFL

Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC), Shehu Dikko is expected to chair the launch of a book on the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) written by celebrated league writer, Emmanuel Jemegah.

The launch of the book, Eyes on the Nigerian League, is slated for 9:00 a.m on April 18 at the SWAN Hall, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

“We at the LMC are happy with your effort in documenting your experience as a league reporter spanning over two decades and we are coming to support the event,” Dikko told Jemegah.

Dignitaries expected at the launch include President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick and other board members, including the first vice president, Seyi Akinwunmi, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, former secretary of the NFF, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, a former chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club and Elder Bode Oyewole.

Other notable dignitaries expected at the launch include Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Deji Tinubu and Nigeria Referees Association, Alhaji Tade Azeez.

Expectedly, chairmen of all the 20 NPFL teams, as well as their counterparts in the Nigeria National League will also be in Lagos for the event.
