Cote d’Ivoire, which lost out of qualification for the Russia 2018 World Cup, is bidding to host the 2019 African Nations Cup, with CAF not impressed with facilities on ground in Cameroun, where the tournament was initially billed to hold.

CEO of Monimichelle, Ebi Egbe disclosed yesterday that his company made a first class presentation, which the Ivoirian authorities were impressed with.

Egbe, who just came back from Abidjan, said his company has the vision of changing the poor face of African football pitches and bringing them to international standard.

“Africa needs to be at the same level with Europe and Monimichelle has what it takes for that to happen,” Egbe said.

The Bayelsa-born FIFA match agent said officials of Côte d’Ivoire’s sports ministry led by its Director General, Moumouni Sylla, warmly received him in Abidjan.
