Former Super Eagles’ coach, Sunday Oliseh has been appointed as a member of the Federation of International Football Association’s (FIFA) technical study group (TSG).

This will make it the second time Oliseh would be appointed to TSG.

“Honoured to be appointed into the “new look” FIFA Technical Department. Next mission; The 2016 Rio Olympics Football.” Oliseh said on his verified Twitter account.

Currently headed by an ex-Swiss international, Jean-Paul Brigger, the TSG’s priority is to observe teams in matches and training sessions and collect information, reports of which are made available to FIFA member associations afterwards as a development tool.

Though Oliseh did not reveal the details of his appointment, his first task as a member of TSG would be at the 2016 Rio Olympics football events.
