The Red Devils could hold the key to the Chilean’s future, with Don Balon suggesting that Atletico Madrid will move for the Gunners ace if their talisman leaves in the summer.

Alexis Sanchez could leave Arsenal for Atletico Madrid, should the Liga side lose Antoine Griezmann in the summer, according to Don Balon.

The Chilean forward has been linked with a Gunners exit as talks over a new contract at Emirates Stadium continue to stall.

Arsene Wenger suggested on Friday that Alexis has assured him he wants to stay put, although the 28-year-old showed signs of anger and frustration at his current situation during the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth.

And Don Balon reports that should Griezmann leave Vicente Calderon, with United having been mooted as a likely destination for the Frenchman, Atleti will spend the cash on Alexis.
