The thrill and glamour usually associated with the Federation Cup played out yesterday, as NPFL side, Heartland FC of Owerri crashed out to non –League team, Top World FC of Ekiti at Oleh Township Stadium.

Heartland drew 0-0 with Top World FC at full time, but the Ekiti side won 4-3 on penalties.

According to results made available by thenff.com yesterday, troubled Giwa FC of Jos was bundled out at the
Lokoja’s Confluence Stadium falling 2-0 to Sunshine Stars.

Another NPFL club, MFM of Lagos made to sweat before eliminating El-Kanemi Babes of Maiduguri on penalties in Kaduna.

It was howver a sweet victory for the two Delta State teams, Warri Wolves and J. Atete Feeders team. While Wolves defeated Yarmalight 3-2, J.Atete Feeders beat Akwa Starlets 1-0.

In other games, Fasbir FC lost 0-2 to Niger Tornadoes, just as Prime FC beat Inneh Stars 2-1.
Kogi United went through on penalties 4-3 against Ekiti United, while Go Round handed a 3-1 defeat to Yobe Stars.

Ibadan warlord, Shooting Stars defeated Wikki Feeders 2-0, while Rivers United beat FC Papilo 4-3. The game between FC IfeanyiUbah and Ebonyi United ended 1-0 in favour of FC IfeanyiUbah.
