Obinna Okolie better known as ‘Blinx’ is a South Africa based Nigerian trap rapper, songwriter and producer. Blinx, who just released a collaboration EP ‘AFRO FROM A TRAP HOUSE’ with creative partner Doe Billz last month, has informed that his debut album project will be released in the last quarter of 2022.

Obi revealed this during a telephone chat with our reporter. He also intimated that he will be dropping 3 singles namely, ‘BAD’ featuring Notory & Doe Billz, NO BODY & YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! prior to the release of the album.

“I want to use these singles to give my fans a taste of what they should be expecting on the album,” he added.

“The album is made up of 20 tracks, and will premiere worldwide officially in September. The only thing remaining is a title for tbe project. The video for BAD, the first single off it, has already been shot by fast rising director Juzzy,” Blinx stated.

According to him, the album features several South African and Nigerian artists.

Obi already has two extended play projects to his credit, a solo effort, “PAIN, SUFFERING & SACRIFICE” (PSS) released in 2021 and a joint project ‘AFRO FROM A TRAP HOUSE’ (AFATH) in collaborative partnership with Doe Billz released last month.

He is currently touring the clubs in Capetown and Johannesburg promoting the joint EP, Afro From A Trap House.
