The Students’ Union Caretaker Committee of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), has acquired 10 new tricycles to ease mobility within the school.

According to the Committee Chairman, Sodiq Usaefat, the tricycles would be driven and managed by students.“The 10 tricycles were purchased by the Caretaker Committee of the Students’ Union to aid intra-campus transportation. Riders would charge N20 a drop. The venture is also expected to serve as a work-and-study project for the students-riders,” he said.

The Rector, Prof. Oludele Itiola, who described the project as a watershed in the school’s history, has implored the committee to handle the project with all seriousness, so they can maintain the tricycles.

He disclosed that the business arm of the institution was still looking for a way to embark on similar project, before the student took all by surprise.
