THE two students, Temitope Ekundayo and Tolulope Yusuff, who came tops at this year’s ‘Idea Challenge,’ held in Benin City, Edo State recently visited University of Sussex, United Kingdom (UK) to hone their entrepreneurial skills.

According a statement issued by the school, the duo were tutored on how to prepare pitches for StartUp Sussex, had lecture on international business and were also advised on how to prepare professional marketing plan for their business.

Minister and Head of Consular Education and Welfare, Nigeria High Commission in London, Tagu Adeniyi, who also met with the duo discussed the potential for support and endorsement from the high commission for a range of initiatives to strengthen links with corporate partners, facilitate internships for StartUp Sussex entrants and establish an entrepreneurship competition for students in Nigeria.

“We enjoyed having fruitful discussions with the Sussex delegation at the High Commission and reiterate our preparedness to partner with the university by serving as liaison with stakeholders in Nigeria to imbibe our youths with entrepreneurial skills,” Adeniyi said.
