Last week Sunday would ever remain a memorable one for the 2016 graduating students of History Department of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), as they converged at the Water Phase Event Centre to celebrate their graduation and to honour those that have performed well among them. Awards were also given..

The awardees include, Iroegbu Sunday who got the Most Popular Student of the Class award, Sunny Ibeh Jr. (Most Outspoken Student), Igwebuike Christopher (most Intelligent Male), Chiamaka Ifebube Anadu (Most Generous Female Student), Ebele Onyema (Most Respectful Student).

Others were Pamela Okoma (Most Sociable Female), Ibeh Jonah (Most Entertaining Student), Natasha Nwanze (Sports Woman of the Class), Anklin Amadi (Students’ Model of the Class), Celestine Okpalugo (Sportsman of the Class), Daniel Egogo (Most Generous, Male), while Ugwu Samson received the Most Dedicated Student award.

Speakers at the event were Sunny Ibeh Jr. who spoke on the topic, Within and Beyond UNIBEN and Ejiribeofor Omeke Ajuluchukwu who spoke on the school’s History Supreme Parliament body.
