Abominable prayers

Proverbs 28:9 “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. Proverbs 15:8 “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.”

Prayer means words that you say to God giving thanks or asking for help, supplication, petition and request. Abomination means unacceptable, hatred and disgust. May the good Lord give us wisdom to know the truth and abide in it.

Prayer is the warfare we can use to walk with God and fight the devil, but it has its own forbidden rules. Many people believe in prayers and believe God answers prayers, but they were not taught by their Pastors or Leaders to remove the forbidden aspect from their lives.

Today, Pastors, Prophets and General Overseers accept contract of Prayers from people that do not want to obey and follow God’s commandments. They accept prayer requests from kings and government bodies, who blocked their ears from God’s commandments.

Murderers, drug barons, ritualists, people who steal the nation’s money, political oppressor in the country see prayers as a contract that can be given to any of the pastors. They believe all that’s required is to give prayer requests and support such with gifts. Prayers have been taken as something that can be bought with money. The wicked people in the country associate themselves with the most popular pastors, so they can offer their prayer requests to God without taking into consideration their wicked acts. They know quite well that the pastors won’t challenge their abominable acts. Due to this, prayer has lost its true meaning. It has been mixed with abominable things.

People do not know the true meaning of prayers. Even pastors have lost the true meaning. If you want to walk with God in prayer, you have to accept Jesus Christ into your life and be willing to follow His commandments. People believe when you support your prayers with seeds, they will be answered by God. This is not true. Prayer is given to Christians as warfare and for one’s prayer to function. You have to remove every form of forbidden and abominable act from your life.

The pedestals on which people place their pastors do not make them surrender their lives and ways fully to Jesus Christ. People believe their pastors are the intermediary between themselves and God. Jesus is the intermediary between man and God. 1 Tim 2:5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” Jesus didn’t come to this world to separate us from His Father’s commandment, but to fulfil it.

Lastly, if you want to see God’s Hand in your prayer life, you must be willing to give your life to Jesus, obey and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour, accept the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Jesus said whosoever wants to be my follower must obey my father’s commandment. Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” And His Father’s will is for us to live holy and sanctified life, and be baptised with the Holy Spirit. All these cannot happen until we surrender our lives totally to Jesus Christ.

May the good Lord give you grace to abide in His ways. It shall be well with your soul.
