Bishop Okonkwo, Winston, others for House on the Rock Word Conference 2017

Dr. Mike Okonkwo,

The Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Bishop Mike Okonkwo is to speak at the Word Conference 2017, with the theme: “Finding, Living and Fulfilling Purpose,” organised by the House on the Rock.

Other ministers of the gospel expected at the event include, Dr. Bill Winston, founder and Pastor of Living Word Christian Centre; Bishop Tudor Bismark, Senior Pastor of New Life Covenant Church with its headquarter in Harare, Zimbabwe; Pastor Mensa Otabil, founder of International Central Gospel Church, Accra, Ghana; Rev. Funke Felix-Adejumo, President, Funke Felix Adejumo Foundation and Senior Pastor and founder of All House on the Rock Churches, Pastor Paul Adefarasin.

According to the organiser of the conference, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, “this year’s theme is targeted at equipping, impacting and inspiring believers with the richer concepts of God’s Word for their transformational role in society and for a victorious life in Christ Jesus. Believers will also be imparted with the strength, grace and faith to overcome the challenging circumstances that we presently grapple with in our country.”

The yearly event, which begins from Wednesday, May 3 to Friday, May 5, will also feature international and Nigerian acclaimed gospel artistes, such as Gabriel Eziashi, Sammie Okposo, Nathaniel Bassey, Onos Ariyo and The Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir, among others. The event will be rounded off with Super Celebration Service on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 9am.
