Coming Out Of Egypt (3)

GOD found in Moses a chosen vessel for the deliverance of the children of Israel from the land of Egypt. He said to Moses, “come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.” Although Moses was no more excited about his divine mission at this point in time, maybe because of his earlier failed attempt or because he never had a full understanding of that mission, God felt he had prepared him enough and that it was time to go for the mission. This was to be the destiny of Moses and it was a mission that must be accomplished.

Friends, there is a particular purpose why you were born into this world and until you find and fulfil it, heaven will continue to see you as a failure. Whether you know it or not, some people’s destinies are tied to yours. It is imperative that we ask God to always help us fit into His divine programmes for our life. Can you imagine what would have been our fate if Jesus had refused going to the cross. The whole world would have been condemned. Our eternal achievements would not be measured by the magnitude of what we accomplish for the kingdom, but how obediently we follow and fulfil God’s programme.

For Moses, it was to deliver Israel from the Egyptians, and lead them into the promised land of Canaan. For Jesus, it was to save His people from sin and reconcile them with God. For John the Baptist, it was to prepare the way for the messiah. For Samson, it was to deliver Israel from the hand of the Philistines. Now,have you found the divine purpose for your coming into this world? Or are you pursuing your own self-serving purposes?

There are people whose freedom from bondage, oppression, and their eternal destinies, happiness and spiritual renewal depend on your ministration, your care, or your intercession. When you don’t recognise this, they might continue in their sufferings.

Unfortunately, some people will end up in hell because you refused to preach to them. Some might end up in frustration, in spiritual bondage, because you ignored the divine purpose of God for you. Now, why wouldn’t you ask God today to always make you aware of your divine responsibilities and fulfil them?

When Moses received the mandate to deliver Israel, he was fortunately humble enough to tell God that he felt unworthy of such a mission. Though he was a man of wisdom, experience, valour, faith and holiness, he thought himself unworthy of the honour. He wanted courage and skill, to be able to deliver such unarmed, undisciplined, quite dispirited people.

But God assuredhim that He was going to be with him -“certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.” Any mandate from God comes with an equal measure of divine grace to carry it out. The will of God does not lead you where His grace will not sustain you.

I have good news for you today. I want to inform you that the end of your matter has been pre-determined and concluded in the divine, supreme court of heaven and the verdict is that all things will work together for your good; that you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, which will bring forth its fruit in its season; that your leaf also shall not wither; that whatsoever you do shall prosper.

Other parts of the divine verdict are that, He will go before you, and make your crooked places straight;He will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in asunder the bars of iron;He will giveyou the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, thatyou may know that He, the Lord which you callyou by name, is the God of Israel.

Then, “when thou passed though the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burnt; neither shall the flames kindle upon thee.”

With the assurance of His divine presence and assistance, the initial signs and his rod (which has been transformed into the rod of God) in his hand, Moses returned to Egypt. He did not return as a frustrated fugitive, but with new anointing. He returned to his rightful position in destiny as a deliverer, a messiah, a prophet of God and as a captain to lead the children of God out of bondage into the promise land; flowing with milk and honey.

I see you returning to your place of destiny. God is restoring you to His divine purpose for your life. It does not matter what has happened in the past: your mistakes, the oppositions you have had, your weaknesses and failures. He is overlooking and overruling all these to establish you. This is because there is a divine mission that must be accomplished through you.

Know at this point, that your opinion or self-assessment is irrelevant. The most important thing now is the divine grace that is being made available to you. He said “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Your enemies shall begin to see you in a new spiritual and supernatural dimension. It will baffle them what God will start to do with you from now.

God is not just going to promote and favour you, He will also remove anything that has been bringing discomfort to you. He said, “And I will stretch out my hand and smite Egypt will all my wonders, which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that, he will let you go. And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that when ye go, ye shall not go empty. Amen! Till next week, God bless!
