This week, we take a peek into the world of the spirit. It’s a real world and there are constant spiritual battles between the forces of evil and the forces of God. Angels are real and have been humorously described as ‘Covenant in forcing’ agents (C.I.A.). For those redeemed by the blood of Jesus, angels are there to enforce covenant provisions in our lives. We must believe in the ministry of angels, particularly in this dispensation, so as to enjoy God’s Protection.

“And did he ever say anything like this to an angel? Sit alongside me here … isn’t it obvious that all angels are sent to help out with those lined up to receive salvation,” Hebrews 1:13-14 MSG.

Angels are ministering spirits for all saved souls. They are like waiters in a restaurant awaiting our orders. This is one reason we must declare God’s provision for divine protection. They pick those words as orders and go into action to see it fulfilled. They are there to fulfil scriptures in our lives.

“So bless God, you angels, ready and able to fly at his bidding, quick to hear and do what he says … alert to respond to whatever he wills” Psalms 103:20-21 MSG.

Angels actually hearken to the voice of God’s word, so we must give voice to God’s word to enjoy the ministry of angels. I have experienced supernatural deliverance on different occasions by the very timely ministry of angels. We have an outstanding example of the ministry of angels in the book of the
Acts of the Apostles, where Peter the Apostle should have been killed by King Herod, but prayers were persistently made for him by the disciples and we see the complete ministry of angels bringing about his total deliverance. Eventually, the man who sought to kill him (King Herod) came to self-destruction. (Acts 12:1-24). I would encourage that you read the story above carefully.

It’s a fantastic example of deliverance from death and crises and as we all know, we have the winning edge in an exam, when we are familiar with examples used during training – it’s a cheap way to pass any exam. When we are confronted with a crisis or a situation that is similar to what Peter went through, we have solace in prayer, which releases angels for total deliverance. It is crucial that we build our faith in the reality of angels.

Asides Peter’s deliverance, there are many other examples in scriptures, where angels wrought deliverance. We also see the powerful ministry of angels, when Jesus was a child. Angels had to speak to Joseph, sometimes in a dream, to move his family, thereby, keeping them from evil intentions.

Oh, how we need this in our dispensation, where all kinds of evil men and their plans are on the increase. As we boldly give voice to the promises of God and spend time in persistent faith filled prayers, angels will come through for our total deliverance.

Also remember Psalm 91; 10-11, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Why did God say, “no evil will befall you?” Because angels are in charge, if you believe.

This week, the ministry of angels supernaturally preserves you. Go out and unleash angel power for your safety and guidance.
