Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja, celebrated Easter with the less privileged in the area. The church shared the joy of Easter with patients at Kubwa General Hospital, King’s Care Hospital and Unity Clinic/Maternity. It also celebrated with children at Divine Wounds of Jesus Orphanage, Kubwa Divine Orphanage and detainees at Police Area Command headquarters, Kubwa.

Pastor and Mrs. Great Olusegun Ayodele led members of the church to visit the less privileged in the area.Speaking on importance of the gesture, Pastor Ayodele said the donation was part of the church’s social responsibility to its host community. According to him, the church set aside the occasion to commemorate the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He added that the power of Christianity was anchored on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He said: “Easter signifies that life is stronger than death. When the enemy has done his worst, then the stage is set for God to do His best. What is the end with man is the beginning with God.”

While enjoining recipients to renew their faith in God, Who is able to set them free from all afflictions and restore their destinies, the cleric also prayed for the nation. He urged leaders at all levels of government to rule with the fear of God and provide dividends of democracy to the people, which according to him, is the essence of governance.
