If truly you want to know the truth, you must ask questions. Everyone that asks receives and every one that searches, finds. One of the great teachers of faith, Kenneth E. Hagin said he does not sleep, if he hears a preacher say something that he is not sure of or clear about.

Timi David

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Matt 7:7-9)

If truly you want to know the truth, you must ask questions. Everyone that asks receives and every one that searches, finds. One of the great teachers of faith, Kenneth E. Hagin said he does not sleep, if he hears a preacher say something that he is not sure of or clear about. He said he usually burn the night candle studying and researching the Word. Little wonder he became an authority in the teaching of the Word of faith in his generation. His books are still very relevant till today.

These days, churches donít give room for questions. Our services are organised in such a way that ìwe only come to say amen to the prayer of the Pastor.î We are slowly becoming very religious. Followers are not properly schooled in the Word of truth. There must be an opportunity for engagement. We must find time periodically for questions and answers. Many pastors may be afraid of this kind of engagement, as they are not also very sure of some of the things they are teaching.

As ministers, we should encourage our followers to ask question. Don’t be afraid that they may ask you questions you donít have answers to. Rather, it should make you study more about the subject until you get answers to them. We donít have to pretend to know all. We are all work in progress. The Bible says we know in part. Pastors, please encourage your members to ask questions. Their questions will show if they really understand what youíre teaching them or not.
Jesus Welcomed Questions From His Followers

There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. Rabbi, he said … (John 3:1-2)
What do you mean?î exclaimed Nicodemus. ìHow can an old man go back into his mothers womb and be born again? John 3:4

How are these things possible? Nicodemus asked. John 3:9.These are the various questions Nicodemus asked the greatest Pastor and teacher of all times. Three very important questions in one night. Jesus took time to explain the salvation message to Him. The answers Jesus gave to Nicodemus are still answering questions in the heart of people today. We must encourage engagements from our followers as ministers. Christianity is not a religion. It is only religion that does not give room for questions. Religion keeps people in the dark, but revelation of the truth is that which set free.

Pastors do not know everything! We must all study to show ourselves approved unto God workmen that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth. A wise teacher will learn from everything, even from his student, if he has an open mind and he pretend to be Mr. Know all. Lets be more open and teachable. No doubt, the Holy Spirit has begun a new work in the body of Christ. Itís a new era for the church of Jesus. The revelation of Godís truth shall cover the earth as the water covers the sea.If you are hungry for the truth of God’s Word, please join our online class known as School of the Spirit.
