Evangelist Obey, Tope Alabi, others for Embrace 2016
As Embrace enters its 9th edition, the Senior Pastor of Embrace International Assembly, Ikorodu, Lagos, Isaac Adeyemi has assured participants of the church’s readiness to take the yearly event to a greater height.
Briefing newsmen in Lagos on the forthcoming event scheduled to hold on Good Friday, Pastor Adeyemi said: “We have had successful outings since the beginning. This year, our intention is to take it higher, in the sense that you don’t just win souls and leave them like that, but we also want to ensure that those souls given to us by God before and after this programme are retained, empowered, established and released. By that I mean we shall train them to learn vocational training such as fashion designing, soap making, barbing and hairdressing. And once they are through, they are allowed to go and impact the society with their trade.”
He also disclosed that Evangelist Dr. Ebenezer Obey would be leading a group of other artistes to perform at Embrace Concert on Friday night. The other artistes, according to him, include Tope Alabi, Bayo Adesuyi, Boiz Olorun, the Battle Axe, Damola Adesina (Elewi), the Embrace Voices, and Tolu David.
The cleric also said the public will also enjoy free medical consultation in the morning hours before the programme commences.
“Embrace is always in two sessions. One is in the morning hours between 8am and 10am. That is when the doctors and nurses will be giving free consultation and drugs to members of the public. Then from 8pm, the night concert starts till dawn and I believe God shall perform extraordinarily this year,” he said.
