From deterioration, decomposition to total transformation

The natural human life is most times plagued with decay, deterioration and retrogression. As we go through the natural growth processes from birth to old age, human life always witnesses decay. Medical science affirms that most cells in human anatomy die periodically and had to be replaced. As we grow, our physical features change.

It is amazing how God preserved His people in times of old, when certain vaccines had not been medically developed. Despite the tropical diseases that were prevalent or endemic in their time, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other patriots enjoyed longevity of life.

They were healthy and wealthy. God assumed the position of their Personal Medical Doctor (PMD) to all these Old Testament Believers. Hence, they enjoyed good health and prosperity. Exodus 15:26 “And said, if thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God and wilt do that which is right and wilt give ear to His commandments and keep all the statutes, I WILL PUT NONE OF THESE DISEASES UPON THEE, which I have brought upon the Egyptians, FOR I AM THE LORD THAT HEALETH THEE”.

Jehovah Rapha, covenanted to uproot sickness and disease from the lives of His covenant people. Acts 10:38 “How God anointed JESUS of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power who went about doing good and HEALING ALL THAT WERE OPPRESSED OF THE DEVIL, for God was with Him”. 1 John 3:8 “For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil”. One of the cardinal reasons JESUS came to redeem us is to deal ruthlessly with decay, distress, disease, deterioration, decomposition and death in our lives.

All through JESUS’ earthly Ministry, people who were decaying, deteriorating and vegetating in their health, met with the Saviour and He made all of them completely whole. At a time when Leprosy was incurable and contagious, JESUS stretched out His hands, touched the leper and the leper was totally cleansed and restored to life. Mark 1:40-42 “And a leper came to Him…And JESUS, moved with compassion, put forth His hand and touched him and saith unto him, I will be thou clean. And as soon as he had spoken, IMMEDIATELY THE LEPROSY DEPARTED FROM HIM AND HE WAS CLEANSED”.

When Peter’s business was experiencing distress, JESUS, THE GAME AND LIFE CHANGER showed up and Peter experienced unprecedented turnaround and breakthrough. (Luke 5:1-7). Several times in the New Testament, JESUS raised the dead to life, showing His irrevocable attribute, as the Resurrection and the Life. Specifically, Lazarus who was dead, buried and decomposing after four days was raised to life in John chapter 11.

The ANOINTING OF THE ANOINTED ONE JESUS eradicated completely deterioration, decay and decomposition in the life of the dead Lazarus. We all face the challenges of this decaying planet: climate change, global warming, tropical diseases, Lassa and malaria fever, etc. Our Holy God with His Holy Covenant has established our freedom through the sacrifice of His Son.

JESUS CHRIST was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our well being laid upon Him and by His wounds we are made whole. Today, is there any deterioration in your finances, marital, business, physical or spiritual life? JESUS, the Resurrection and the Life will make all the difference in your life. Believe and rely on Him, His power, grace and mercy will bring total transformation to every area, where you have experienced deterioration, decomposition and death.

PRAYER: LORD, I expose the deterioration, decomposition and death in my life to JESUS the Resurrection and the Life. I trust and rely on You JESUS, for my total transformation.
