God who shows up in our days of adversity

One of the powerful inspirations we derive from the Holy Scripture is the revelation of the LIVING GOD Who SHOWS UP IN OUR TIMES OF ADVERSITIES.

The Word of God declares in Psalm 46:1 that GOD IS OUR REFUGE and strength and A VERY PRESENT HELP IN TIMES OF TROUBLE.

God always shows up when things are not working right for us, particularly when we get into serious trouble financially, martially, materially, spiritually, etc.

God is always touched by the feelings of our infirmities.

God is involved in our afflictions. Nahum 1:7 “The LORD is good, a STRONG HOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE and He knoweth them that trust in Him.”

It is amazing how king David, who got into so many troubles was moved by the Holy Spirit to write Psalm 34.

It was a critical time in his life, when he pretended to BE INSANE in front of king Abimelech.

He had been tossed to and fro by the challenges and negative exigencies of life. Looking back, David was able to capture various categories of people who were in trouble (including himself); who got God’s intervention and deliverance when they trusted in the LORD. David mentioned and captured: (1) THE AFFLICTED – Psalm 34:2 (2) THE OPPRESSED – Psalm 34:4 (3) THE DESPONDENT – Psalm 34:5 (4) THE MORTALLY POOR MAN – Psalm 34:6 (5) THE HARASSED – Psalm 34:7 (6) THE NEEDY – Psalm 34: 8-10 (7) THE RIGHTEOUS IN TROUBLE – Psalm 34: 15-19 (8) THE SERVANT OF THE LORD – Psalm 34: 21-22. Psalm 34 is a vivid confirmation of the FAITHFULNESS OF GOD to those going through crisis – the LORD will SURELY deliver them, once they CALL upon Him.

The list is continuous of many people like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Deborah, Samson, David, Daniel, etc, who faced life-threatening challenges.

Yet, God showed up on their behalf. Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I CHANGE NOT; therefore, ye sons of Jacob are NOT CONSUMED.” Today, no matter what you are going through, you can connect with this God, Who specialises in meeting us at the point of our needs.

Heaven will respond to you today, when you take time to trust the LORD. Psalm 34:8 “O taste and see that the LORD IS GOOD: blessed is the man that TRUSTETH IN HIM.”

No matter your present circumstance or disposition in trouble, Heaven is waiting for your prayer requests.

Psalm 34:17 “The RIGHTEOUS CRY and the LORD HEARETH AND DELIVERETH THEM OUT OF ALL THEIR TROUBLES.”

As long as we live here on earth, we will face challenges that are characteristic of this world. No matter the forces that are working against you, you are not powerless, hopeless and helpless.

The Name that brought the Universe into existence is at our disposal. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

The LORD JESUS has issued a “RESTRAINING ORDER” – a Perpetual injunction against the devil – “NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU.” You will always be triumphant – nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The LORD shall frustrate the activities of the enemy and the enemy will not be able to carry out its enterprise of evil against you (Job 5:12 “He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands CANNOT PERFORM THEIR ENTERPRISE”).

We overcome the wicked one by the POWER OF THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their testimony.

The BLOOD OF JESUS IS SPEAKING ON OUR BEHALF. Today, we plead the BLOOD OF JESUS against the nefarious wicked activities of the wicked one. The BLOOD OF JESUS atones and AVAILS on our behalf. The BLOOD OF JESUS!!!

In the Mighty Name of JESUS, receive your deliverance and total triumph from every trouble. In the Mighty name of JESUS, you are set free and delivered from all afflictions.
Lift up your hands and begin to bless the LORD for His intervention in your life. Celebrate the swift intervention of God in your life. You can never be defeated. JESUS IS LORD.

PRAYER: Father God, I thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your readiness to deliver me in times of trouble. JEHOVAH GOD, I call upon You TODAY.

I ask in JESUS MIGHTY NAME for Your deliverance. I receive Your intervention in JESUS HOLY NAME. I receive a complete turnaround in every area of my life.
