Founder of Family Booster Ministry, Pastor Bisi Adewale, has identified lack management skills and tolerance as the major causes of divorce.

He said this at the fourth edition of the Lagos single and married conference held at the National Stadium, Surulere, with the theme, ‘Marriage Of My Dream.’

According to the lead convener, “We have very good people, colleagues at work and girls in the office, who are having bad marriages. Some their marriages crash two or three months of signing the dotted lines.

“I discovered that the absence of management skill is the root cause. When you are at work, you learn management of material, earn money, but nobody is taught marriage management this is why my new book speaks of character, attitude and bedroom management and all one needs to make his/her marriage work,” he said.

On his advice to families following the economic recession, he said, “Jonathan, Buhari are not our problem, something is fundamentally wrong with Nigeria. Surprisingly, if you change everybody in government and bring in new set of people, we are still likely to have same issues because our value system is wrong. Even the way we manage money in our families is very wrong.

“If you don’t manage money well at home, you will squander government funds if put there. We are rain spenders, which is a huge problem and so my advice is, there can be recession in the nation, don’t allow it to be in your family and so we have to change the way we handle money,” he said.
