Make public offices unattractive to looters, Okusenogu advises Buhari
The General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Christ Disciples Global Gospel Church (CDGGC), Rev. (Dr.) David Okusenogu has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and other stakeholders in the country’s political affairs to make political offices less attractive to discourage looting.
Speaking during his church’s 21st yearly convention tagged: 2018 Great Gain Convention with the theme: “The All Sufficient God,” Okusenogu said the reason for massive banditry and looting of treasures in government sectors is due to juicy offices and mega finance available in their coffers and at their disposal, as well as the get rich quick syndrome of average Nigerians and politicians alike.
He encouraged all the geo-political zones to work together for the country’s growth, irrespectively of political affiliation, tribes and beliefs.
The founder and President of Endtime Ministers’ convention, a group of God’s general, described corruption as a monster that should be tackled headlong without any reservation, preference, fear or favourtism.
The country’s leadership, according to him, should go to God for proper direction and approach in order to unearth and uproot the cankerworm called corruption.
He said: “What they need is supernatural strength from God to intervene, to pull down the walls called ‘corruption,’ reduce the finesse attached to political offices that will further discourage those seeking it, thereafter encourage genuine candidates for such government political offices.
