O’ Lord, open my book

Life is like a book. You don’t judge it by its cover rather you do so by its content.

Everybody has a book written about him/her from birth. This book contains man’s purpose in life, but most people don’t have access to the book of their breakthrough because it’s sealed.

Isa 29:12 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men delivered to one that is learned, saying, read this I pray thee; and he answered, I cannot, for it is sealed.

Many times people see you and ask about your family, meanwhile, you have no husband yet. You’ve prayed and prayed to no avail. It’s not because God does not answer prayers, it’s because your book has been closed. Jesus also suffered a similar fate.

From a young age people already knew he had a great destiny but His book was closed till He was about 30 years. Even after His baptism and the heavens opened, His book was still closed.

Till one day in the gospel according to Luke 4:17 “and there was a book delivered to Him, the book of the prophet Esaias. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written, the Spirit of the Lord is upon ME, because He has announce me to preach the gospel to the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recover the sight of the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

His book had to be opened for him to read before His destiny could be activated. Child of God, you’re not an ordinary being. Something has being written about you and if that book is closed, you can’t manifest.

When a man’s book is closed, his life is full of questions. Christianity in this era is not a story rather it’s an evidence. People want to see the evidence of being a child of God in your life first.

You can’t tell an unbeliever that God is good and you can’t afford to feed yourself. It’s an error.

When a man’s book is closed, he does what others do but his result will be negative. Nothing works irrespective of the kind of prayers done. He lives at the mercy of others; what an error!  Mind you, anybody’s book can be closed. Be you a pastor, an apostle, a prophet, etc, but the day your book is opened, where you meet failure, favour will be activated for you.

Esther 6:1 for that night the king couldn’t sleep, and he commanded the book of the chronicles be brought and read before him. “And it was found written concerning Mordecai.” After Mordecai’s chapter was opened, his life was changed for good.

The day God locates a man, He relocates that man. God cannot leave you in the same level He met you. If God wants to open any man’s book, He needs no permission. For the Bible says, “I am the one that opens and no one can close.”

Therefore, God can open your book and serve you jaw breaking testimonies. Child of God, don’t give up.

God is still in the business of opening books. Remain steadfast, let not your faith derail, pray that your book be opened and God will surely come to your rescue in Jesus’ name.
