On issues to address
The Redemption Camp, Lagos, Ibadan Expressway is a place to be from July 17 to 22, as God is going to do something for individuals and groups. This year, we will be hosting the author of the Seven Mountains Prophecy, Jonny and Elizabeth Enlow. They have done very well in the organisation by producing the materials and showing us how the biblical relevancies can be applied in these spheres. That is one of the major things that God has done for us in this conference. The fact that Jonny and Elizabeth Enlow agreed to come for the conference is encouraging, because this is their first time of coming to Africa. This is a major shift on the shape that the conference is going to take.

Other key leaders and speakers from Nigeria will also be joining us. For instance, an organisation called Priests and Kings will be attending the conference as a group. We also have denominations that are sending large chunk of their leadership to this year’s conference. These include, Pastor David Ogbueli, Pastor Daniel Olukoya and Rev. (Mrs.) Mercy Ezekiel, which was not the case before now. We also have some Anglican delegations.

From Nigeria, we are expecting about 4, 000 delegates though the overall figure of expected delegates is 5, 000. Others are coming from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, the United Kingdom, U.S, Germany, the Netherlands, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Togo, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon and Seychelles.

The vision is networking pastors and ministers, bringing them from different denominations and nationalities into one body, because Jesus is coming for the Church and not for denominations. We must come to a point, where we begin to see eye to eye, where leaderships of denominations start discussing together, share fellowship, study the Bible together and begin to deal with the issues that divide and trouble us and those things that make the society to be apportioning blames to the church. Don’t forget that the society is quick to remember the wrong a pastor has done, but the good that he/she has done the society doesn’t remember. That is the vision of PMPNA and the essence of this is to network these ministers so that we can take responsibility for our nation. We are networking pastors for the transformation of our nation.

On state of the nation
Nigeria is moving forward, no matter the current state of things. For instance, if you see a child that is crawling, you need to look beyond the crawling child and see the man that is developing in that child. Nigeria is at the centre focus of God’s last days plan, and it cannot disintegrate. It doesn’t matter the failures and errors of human beings or their antics and craftiness, God owns the nation and at the appropriate time, He will show everyone that the country belongs to Him.

The reason there is agitation is that the centre is too powerful. So, tribes that find their way to the centre try to bend the rules to favour them in certain areas. Consequently, other tribes will always feel that they are marginalised. However, if the focus is on the regions, states or local governments, where efforts are made to create industries, construct good road network and steady power supply, nobody will be migrating to Abuja or other cities in search of jobs.

For instance, if we have a lot of industries in my community, the youths there won’t be migrating to cities looking for jobs. If the nation is restructured in such a way that whosoever goes to the centre would not control so much power as the president to acquire wealth to just favour his people, then there will be less agitation and cry of marginalisation in the country.
