The District Superintendent, West and Central Africa, Apostolic Faith Church, Rev. Emmanuel Adeniran, has called on Christians to pray seriously for God’s intervention, concerning the present situation in the country.

Rev. Adeniran, who described the situation as “confused state of the nation’s economy,” said there is need to seek for divine intervention.

At the 2016 Pre-camp Press Conference of the church camp meeting holding at the convention ground in Ogun State, Adeniran said though Nigeria appears to be on the precipice of economic recession and begging for healing in all facets of things, it could still become a prosperous nation, if Nigerians can truly turn to God, Who alone can fix problems.

Disclosing the theme of the programme, as “The Relationships of the Godly,” Adeniran noted: “Ours is a nation in dire need of a saviour, a true change and transformation in all facets of its socio-political and economic growth. The word, ‘change’ has assumed a new meaning in today’s Nigeria than it did a year ago.
But, I want to assure you that though the word may connote something dire and foreboding, if we can put our trust in the unchanging and unchangeable God, He would give us grace that would be sufficient to take us through these critical times, with songs of victory in our mouth at last.
