Stay on your lane – Part 1

Pastor David Adeoye

We are uniquely created by God and we all have our individual lane. Success is inevitable when you maintain your God-given lane.

“They charge like warriors; they scale walls like soldiers. They all march in line, not swerving from their course. They do not jostle each other; each marches straight ahead.

They plunge through defenses without breaking ranks.” Joel 2: 7-8NIV.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9NKJV

About more than 150,000 babies are born daily worldwide, according to experts only 3-4% will succeed. I come to realize that the 3-4% are those who discover their uniqueness and stay on their lane.

Each one of us was born for a unique purpose. You are uniquely created for a purpose; you need to locate that purpose.

Every business is not your business no matter how lucrative they are. Many people fail where others are thriving, because that’s not their place.

It takes a lot discipline to maintain your track in this world of busy-ness. We are all wired for a specific task. Nobody is a photocopy of another person. Don’t sell out your uniqueness, stay on your lane.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2:9(NIV).

Don’t let people talk you out of what you are called to do. Be careful, you are not running other people’s race, people that refuse to maintain their lane do not last in the race of life.

When CNN started and it was all about news, people said a TV station with 24hours news will not last, instead of listening to people, they stick to that exceptionality. We all know that one of the best TV station today is CNN. What God gave you is unique, stay with it.

There are five major things you need to discover before you can stay on your lane and live a life of excellence: Purpose, Potential, Passion, Personality strength, and Platform.

Henry Ford said: “The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what it is once destiny to do, and do it.”

One of the qualities of the end-time Army in Joel 2:7-8, is that everyone maintains their lane. This why even when they fall on the sword, they are not wounded. Your place of destiny is your most secured place.
