“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day I had holy plans for you A prophet to the nations that’s what I had in mind for you.”

But I said, “Hold it, Master God! Look at me, I don’t know anything. I’m only a boy!” God told me, “Don’t say, ‘I’m only a boy.’

I’ll tell you where to go and you’ll go there. I’ll tell you what to say and you’ll say it. Don’t be afraid of a soul. I’ll be right there, looking after you.” God’s Decree.…” Jeremiah 1:5-8(MSG).

Every product has a purpose known by the producer. A product functions better when it is used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

You will struggle less, when you identify your lane and stay there. You will succeed without stress in your vocation, when you live a Purpose-full life.

Let me ask you these two questions: Does a fish struggle to swim? And does a bird struggle to fly? The answer to these two questions is ‘NO.’

The same bird who does not struggle to fly, will struggle to swim, because those wings are not for swimming.

Therefore, let the bird remain in the sky and keep flying, while the fish remain in the sea and keep swimming. Many of us are struggling today because we are not on our God assigned lane.

The best car on the road cannot compete with a boat on the sea; neither can the best boat compete with a car on the road.

In 1 Samuel 17, Saul equipped David with his own armour, so that he would be able to fight Goliath. But David knew that he couldn’t use those stuffs, he had to remove them and use what he had. He used his own instruments to bring down Goliath.

“So Saul clothed David with his armour, and he put a bronze helmet on his head; he also clothed him with a coat of mail. David fastened his sword to his armour and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. And David said to Saul, “I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them.”

So David took them off. Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag, in a pouch, which he had, and his sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine” 1 Samuel 17:38-40(NKJV).

David would have engaged in a suicide mission, if he had confronted Goliath wearing Saul’s Armour.

He conquered Goliath with a simple sling and a stone because he stayed on his lane.

Don’t despise your lane. When you stand in your lane, success comes naturally, but when you stand in the lane of others, you are stressed. The scripture says, “The gift of a man makes room for him.” It is your gift that will make room for you and not your friends’ gift.

If you don’t discover your place, it will be left empty, which means you will be depriving this generation of something very vital. It is not only a loss on your side, but also a loss on your generation. However, if you stay in your place, it’s only a matter of time, and you too will excel.

Staying on your lane will eradicate all your struggles and bring you success. I pray that God will open your inner eyes to discover your Purpose, Potential, Passion, Personality, strength, and Platform.
