THE Ark of the Lord signifies His presence before the Israelites in the Old Testament. “Then David mobilised thirty thousand special troops.  He led them to Baalah of Judah to bring home the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord Almighty, Who is enthroned between the cherubim. (2 Samuel 6:1-2). When the Israelites were at wars, the Ark of the Lord made them to overcome. Innumerable miracles happened because of the Ark of the Lord’s presence.
What is this Ark?

Now, this Ark is equally a testimony that Jesus is present in the Book of Genesis through the Book of Revelation. It signifies the ‘Lord Jesus Christ.’ Whenever the Ark of the Lord is, there is His presence. In times of wars, God always gave Israelites victories. Today, we need not make an ‘Ark’ of the Lord and we do not need to seek for powers outside that of God’s. Jesus Christ now dwells in our heart. That is why you need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The Ark of the Lord was untouchable, which is why it has Rod for carrying it.

Once you have accepted Jesus Christ and obey Him, you need not entertain any fear. You have automatically become untouchable. Believing and accepting Jesus Christ means you have access to ‘Power’, and ‘Authority.’

At a time, the Philistines wanted to know what the Ark contained and the source of Israelites victory. They, therefore, robbed the Israelites of the ‘Ark of the Lord ‘and kept it in the House of their Idol (Dagon’s House). But the following morning, their idol fell before the Ark of the Lord with its arms, legs and head broken from its body because ‘Power is superior to ‘power’. “…Then the Lord began to afflict the people of Ashdod and the nearby villages with a plague of tumors. (I Samuel 5:3-6). The Ark of the Lord is in you, but you do not know, “because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.”
Do you know why I did not go beyond primary education? My father died when I was still small and I started fending for my mother at a tender age. I had to become a labourer just to purchase ordinary exercise book. But my life took a dramatic turnaround for good when I accepted Jesus and answered the call to the ministry.
