SPAR, Kinabuti, others partner to celebrate Orile kids

Kinabuti, Afrocentric fashion brand, in partnership with SPAR Nigeria and other well-meaning corporate bodies held its 6th Christmas party for children living at Orile and its environs during the Yuletide.

With the theme as: “1,000 Gifts For Kids At Orile,” the event saw over 1,000 children from different Nursery and Primary schools treated to a heart-warming celebration.

The children participated in such activities as aerobics, quizzes, dancing competitions and games, while they had lots to eat and drink from SPAR Nigeria, Pepsi and other partners.

SPAR Nigeria’s spokesperson, John Goldsmith, said: “It has always been the company’s culture to be part of initiatives that bring happiness and give a sense of belonging to the children of Orile and Iganmu.

“Being a hypermarket that is deeply interested in the people and their living communities, we consider the Kinabuti Xmas Party a viable platform to share goods and provisions that will improve the lives of these precious children from low income communities.”

With the funds raised in previous years by Kinabuti and Partners, facilities including new doors, bathrooms, windows and furnishings have been fitted into different schools within Orile Iganmu community.
