Thanks for highlighting the latent and potential impact of apprenticeship and mentorship culture to technology development in Nigeria, as you noted this has been practiced in our culture for a long while, producing tremendous results, with proof from your own personal experience.

The last paragraph says it all.

“We need an “Imu Ahia” for Technology. Who knows? Maybe it will become so successful that Silicon Valley and others will want to learn more from us and the Igbo trader or artisan.”

As a rookie in the tech industry I’m also keenly looking out for avenues to gain valuable and immeasurable knowledge, and also build long lasting and impactful relationship via apprenticeship and mentorship.

Thanks for highlighting this.
