The New Media Round Table, a brainchild of Estol Africa, an initiative created to foster a healthy and progressive working relationship among stakeholders in the digital industry in order to create an ecosystem whereby people can ideate, innovate and push the industry forward, holds on Friday.

This event, which is a collaboration with Google Nigeria, will hold at Google Nigeria office on Mulliner Towers, Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos by 10:00 am. It will focus on the Future of Influencer Marketing (Trends, Drivers and Impact).

Brand managers, digital marketing heads, publishers, social influencers, professionals and enthusiasts are expected to participate at the roundtable, to discuss how influencer-marketing can reach its full potential and how players in this mix can collaborate and co-create to achieve a mutually benefiting goal this year.

According to the managing partner of Estol Africa, Adekeye Tosin: “NMR was born off the need to redefine how people consume and use the media. Over the years we have seen a massive culture shift and rise of digital entrepreneurs who are not only redefining what work means but shaping culture and setting trends.

“These rapidly growing group of digital natives are well armed with the power of Influence and this makes them an important element in the marketing strategy of brands interested in building relationships with their consumers online.”

Franklin Ozekhome, a strategic planner and brand communications specialist with multicultural experience, would deliver the keynote speech at the Round Table.

Speakers, Panelists and facilitators for the Round Table include: Taiwo – Kola Ogunlade (Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa Google), Miss Techy (Tech influencer), Afrolems (Food Influencer), Frank Donga (Social Influencer) Femi Bakre (Founder Kraks TV) and Olusegun Martins (Head of Digital Insight Publicis).
