Afrobeat sensation, Irawo releases Iyanu,

Afrobeat sensation and rising star,  Abayomi Mudashiru known as “Irawo” in the music circle has released a new single titled ‘Iyanu’.

Irawo, who in a statement, spoke about his intention to release an EP had his first official single,  ‘Aye’ released in 2020.

“Gradually cultivating a grassroots fanbase both at home and in the diaspora, Irawo released his first official single “Aye” in 2020 followed up with another beautiful tune “Iyanu” to critical acclaim as he sets his sights high on releasing an EP in no distant time,” the statement read.

The Nigerian-born, Uk based singer, songwriter, producer, and sound engineer is no newbie on the Afrobeat scene. Irawo started as a music producer in 2008 before switching up into full-time musician with a slew of songs he produced himself.

He went on a musical hibernation for quite a long time in search of greener pastures but is now back to thrill his fans.

His yet-to-be-titled project includes sounds all overlaid with rich, intricate harmonies, warm vocals, and surprise collaborations that will hit the Afrobeat scene hard like a Cyclone.

With the new wave of emerging multi-talented Nigerian global superstars, It’s only a matter of time, Irawo is sure one to look out for to fly the flag globally.
