‘Davido is my idol,’ singer T-E-J declares

Superstar singer Tijani Emmanuel Olabode, aka T-E-J has revealed that Nigerian music star Davido is his idol.

In a chit-chat with his fans, where he made this disclosure, T-E-J explained that Davido is one artiste who is lovable considering his kindness and music prowess.

Referring to Davido, T-E-J stated: “He’s my idol, and he’s someone I love so much. Davido is one of the few Nigerian artistes that have achieved a lot, especially as it relates to developing talents, and not only by providing them with funding, but the fatherhood they need to thrive in the space he has been successful in.”

The Afro-pop artiste further spoke about how proud he is about the Nigerian music industry, saying the likes of Davido and Wizkid are changing the narrative for the citizenry at large.

“One would always think Nigerians don’t have meaningful things to do with their lives, but I’m glad to see Davido and Wizkid waving the flag high to the delight of the citizenry,” T-E-J added.

Inspired by Davido, T-E-J expressed confidence that he would be great as well as a Nigerian music star.

He said. “I’m not only proud of their doings (Wizkid and Davido), but I’m also inspired that I can make magic as well. Things are becoming feasible and I strongly believe that sooner than later, I will be the world’s centre of attention.”
