Following up on his successful debut single featuring Buju, new rapper, Savage takes a big career leap by signing a management and distribution deal with a top entertainment company, Dvpper Music, known for its high success rate in music distribution.

Dvpper Music has distributed for numerous African musicians on its roaster such as Omah Lay, Teni, Zlatan and Rexxie among others.

The 25 year-old rapper made a big splash with his debut single ‘Confident’ featuring Buju. The song was recorded in Capetown and Lagos. Produced by Tempoe, it was learnt that “Confident” will feature on Savage’s forthcoming EP, Utopia, which will be the rapper’s first studio album.

“Confident,” therefore, becomes the first page of a new chapter for Savage, who’s seen his stock rise gaining admirers globally. Savage struck a creative chemistry on the new single with singer, Buju who has been making waves with his number one hit collaboration, ‘Feelings’ with Ladipoe.

With ‘Confident’, Savage has recorded a high level of success rising to number six most-streamed Nigerian on Apple Music for three weeks consecutively since it’s release on June 17th.

According to Akinwunmi ‘’DapperDamm’’ Damilola, Chairman/CEO, “Savage is a unique and forward-thinking artist who is at the forefront of a new generation of rappers emerging from Africa. Dvpper Music is a globally recognized brand synonymous with excellence in Afrobeats, and we are excited to welcome Savage — an international star with real vision and talent — into the family.”

In his reaction, Savage said: “It’s powerful to be a part of the Dvpper Music Family. It’s an iconic record label and has made the careers of many of the artists I look up to.”
